The Casa Madsen Museo is a historic house museum located in El Chalten, Argentina. The house was built in the 1930s by the Danish explorer and anthropologist, Alfred Madsen, who used it as a base for his expeditions in Patagonia.

The museum is open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Unfortunately, I could not find an official website for the museum.

In the surroundings of El Chalten, visitors can explore the stunning Los Glaciares National Park, which is home to the famous Fitz Roy mountain range and the Perito Moreno Glacier. The park is open all year round, but the best time to visit is during the summer months (December to February). The park has various hiking trails with different difficulty levels, and visitors can also go kayaking, fishing, and horseback riding. The park is open from 8am to 6pm, and admission costs vary depending on the activity and the season.
